If you’re looking to inject a little romance in your life this intimate setting makes the ideal stay against the backdrop of some of London’s most iconic sights. Alternatively, a family adventure or friends on board makes for a great sleepover. Whatever your circumstances or occasion the Imperium boat includes everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay.
Imperium is a 57 foot narrowboat completed in 2018 and 6ft 10 inches wide. She can comfortably sleep 4 people and for 2 is luxurious. The boat has a warm and inviting interior with solid oak floors and work tops. The log burner creates a cosy, intimate atmosphere within stylish furnishings.
The sleeping accommodation is made up of a double cabin at the front with doors to a small but comfortable front deck. There are two single beds to the centre of the boat that inconspicuously fold away flat under the copper bars when not in use. The 10ft copper bars line either side of the centre of the boat with stools for dining. The bow has a seating area complete with grass lawn. Further seating (foldaway little stools located in the storage space under the beds) can be found on the roof terrace which is complete with solid hardwood oak decking with removable side rails with ropes. The area also has a grass lawn which is perfect for a spot of sunbathing during the summer months.
The black, sparkly PVC panelled bathroom has an electric toilet with a 300 litre holding tank, a marble effect ceramic bowl sink and a modern, quadrant shower enclosure with an 800 mm shower tray. The boat comes equipped with a 12v hairdryer/straighteners.
The water is held in a 500 litre tank beneath the bow just for flushing the toilet and another 500l tank under the bow for the Marco gas boiler, hot water, shower, kitchen and bathroom water supplies.
In the winter season, heating is circulated by the solid log burner – logs are provided on board. The kitchen is complete with a gas oven/hob as well as a dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Appliances are electrically ignited by plugging into the 240v inverter in the boiler room. All utensils and cutlery are provided and can be located in cupboards beneath the work tops in the kitchen area.
Instructions for the maintenance and upkeep of the boat during your stay will be provided to ensure that your stay is as hassle free and relaxing as possible.
